Greece seizes cryptocurrency assets related to the $1.5 billion Bybit hacking case linked to North Korea for the first time
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Greece's anti-money laundering agency has implemented its first cryptocurrency seizure operation, freezing funds related to the $1.5 billion Bybit hack. This operation traced a transaction to a wallet associated with North Korea's Lazarus group and issued a freeze order to prevent the transfer of funds. Approximately $11.7 million has been returned to victims, and Bybit data shows that about 5% of the stolen Ethereum is currently frozen, with over $870 million still missing.
