Crypto.com explores introducing cryptocurrency payments at duty-free shops in Dubai

ChainCatcher news, according to the Financial Technology Times, cryptocurrency service provider Crypto.com has signed a memorandum of understanding with Dubai Duty Free to explore the implementation of cryptocurrency payments. Under the agreement, Crypto.com will provide cryptocurrency payment options both in-store and online at Dubai Duty Free, offering travelers a more diverse range of payment choices.

Dubai Duty Free's revenue reached 4.118 billion dirhams (1.128 billion USD) in the first half of this year, a 5.34% increase compared to the same period last year. This collaboration marks an important step for Dubai in its efforts to become a global cryptocurrency hub.
