Fidelity's wholly-owned subsidiary NFS has become the largest shareholder of Metaplanet, holding a 12.9% stake

ChainCatcher news, Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich disclosed on social media that National Financial Services LLC (NFS) has become the largest shareholder of the Japanese listed company Metaplanet. As of June 30, NFS holds 84.4 million shares of Metaplanet, accounting for 12.9% of the company's total equity, valued at approximately 130 billion yen (about 820 million USD).

It is reported that NFS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fidelity Investments, primarily serving as a custodian for retail and institutional investors purchasing stocks through the Fidelity platform. Gerovich stated that as global market access expands, the shareholder structure of Metaplanet continues to evolve.
