The amount of cryptocurrency theft in the first half of 2025 has exceeded the total for the entire last year
ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, the North Korean hacker group Lazarus Group's attack on the exchange Bybit resulted in approximately $1.5 billion in funds being stolen, bringing the total amount of cryptocurrency theft in the first half of 2025 to $2.17 billion, surpassing the total for the entire year of 2024.
