CoinDCX releases follow-up announcement on "stolen approximately $44.2 million": Losses will be covered by its own treasury reserves

ChainCatcher news, according to a follow-up announcement released by CoinDCX, the reason for the attack was that an internal operational account was compromised due to a server attack. The CoinDCX wallet used for storing customer assets was not affected, and the related losses will be fully covered by CoinDCX's own treasury reserves. Currently, efforts are underway to freeze and recover the assets, and a bug bounty program is planned.

Previous report, CoinDCX was hacked around yesterday morning, resulting in a loss of approximately 44.2 million dollars.
