ChainCatcher news, according to Yonhap News Agency, a man in his 50s was sentenced to 5 years in prison in the second trial for stabbing a representative of a cryptocurrency company with a knife in court. The cryptocurrency company representative was on trial for allegedly defrauding 1.4 trillion won in cryptocurrency assets.
The attacker claimed that he believed his actions were justified due to the economic losses caused by the victim. However, the court ruled that such private sanctions cannot be justified even in a public trial.
