Lotte Card applies for trademark rights for the Korean won stablecoin, covering 36 brand names and codes

ChainCatcher news, according to Yonhap News Agency, Lotte Card has applied for 36 trademarks related to the Korean won stablecoin, including brand names and codes. The applied trademarks include "WONBIT", "KTOKEN", "LOCAMONEY", and others.

The company stated that the Korean won stablecoin will be widely used in transactions of high-value assets such as used cars, luxury goods, real estate, and gold in the future.
