SpaceX warns investors: Musk may return to politics

The documents indicate that Musk may take on a role similar to his previous one and will dedicate a significant amount of time and energy.

The company added wording listing such "risk factors" in documents sent to investors discussing the deal. Some sources say this wording is believed to be the first appearance of such language in these takeover offers.

After leaving the Department of Government Efficiency at the end of May, Musk had promised Tesla shareholders to reduce his involvement in political activities and refocus on Tesla's business.
