UC Berkeley Racing AI Autonomous Vehicle Project Confirms Participation in DePIN Expo 2025
DePIN Expo 2025 today announced its academic support from UC Berkeley. Professor Allen Yang, Executive Director of the FHL Vive Center at UC Berkeley and Co-founder of the Berkeley DeFi Research Initiative, will provide academic guidance for the exhibition.
As a leading figure in the field of decentralized technology research at UC Berkeley, Professor Allen Yang actively promotes industrial innovation practices. He co-founded Hitch Interactive, which developed programmable NFTs based on IMF standards and AI in Immutable Miniverse services, and exclusively supports the UC Berkeley ROAR (Robot Open Autonomous Racing) project to advance autonomous driving.
This collaboration deeply integrates UC Berkeley's academic resources with the industrial platform of DePIN Expo, enhancing Hong Kong's unique position as a connector between the global manufacturing and financial centers, and helping DePIN Expo to create a "Web3 version of CES."
It is reported that DePIN Expo 2025 will be held on August 27-28 in Cyberport, Hong Kong. The event is initiated by DeMall and organized by Web3Labs, MetaEra, and Techub News, with Cyberport as a co-organizer.
