Vietnam launches the national blockchain platform NDAChain for digital identity verification and record management

ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Vietnam has announced the launch of the national blockchain platform NDAChain, which will serve as the core infrastructure of its digital ecosystem.

NDAChain is developed by the Vietnam National Data Association (NDA) and operated by the Ministry of Public Security's Data Innovation and Development Center. The platform adopts a Proof of Authority (PoA) consensus protocol, enhanced with zero-knowledge proof technology for security, and has 49 public-private partnership verification nodes, including national agencies and companies such as SunGroup, Zalo, and Masan participating in network security maintenance.

This blockchain network will provide a decentralized trust layer for e-government, finance, healthcare, logistics, and education sectors. At the same time, NDAChain will support the NDA DID decentralized identity solution for counterparty identity verification and digital contract signing. The government stated that the NDAKey application will achieve second-level identity verification, aimed at preventing fraud and digital identity theft.

Nguyen Huy, the technical head of NDA, stated that this blockchain will serve as a protective layer for the country's real-time data, which is crucial for the development of the digital society and economy.
