Ethereum co-founder: Hope SharpLink becomes the fastest company to accumulate ETH
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Ethereum co-founder and Consensys CEO Joe Lubin stated that he has been involved in planning SharpLink Gaming's Ethereum treasury strategy and hopes the company can accumulate ETH for shareholders as quickly as possible, sounding the "battle horn" for enterprises competing for the top position in ETH reserves.
Joe Lubin mentioned that SharpLink accumulates funds "daily" through a mechanism that issues at market price to expand its ETH reserves and stakes its holdings to earn returns, achieving compound growth. He stated, "We believe that on a per-share (fully diluted) basis, our rate of accumulating ETH will exceed that of any Ethereum project, even Bitcoin-related projects."
Currently, SharpLink is competing with BitMine for the title of "top Ethereum treasury company." StrategicETHReserve data shows that BitMine currently holds 566,800 ETH (valued at approximately $2.13 billion), ranking first; SharpLink holds 360,800 ETH (valued at approximately $1.35 billion), placing second.
