eToro will launch tokenized US stocks on the Ethereum chain

ChainCatcher news, according to investing.com, the online trading platform eToro announced that it will launch tokenized U.S. stock services on the Ethereum chain, allowing users to buy and trade tokenized U.S. stocks on-chain as a strategic move towards a tokenized future.

In a webinar held on Tuesday, eToro revealed that it will offer trading services for the first 100 popular U.S. listed stocks and ETFs (as underlying assets) for 5 days a week, 24 hours a day, enabling users to trade outside of traditional market hours.

eToro has also partnered with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group to launch spot quote futures, which have already been rolled out in some European markets, with plans to further expand coverage.
