Euronext CEO: The U.S. is gradually resembling an "emerging market" while Europe is becoming a destination for capital
ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, the CEO of the Euronext, Bouha, stated that at least from the perspective of the stock market, the United States is beginning to exhibit characteristics of emerging markets.
Even before Trump returned to the White House, funds had started flowing into the European market, forming a preliminary trend of what is called "great rotation." However, since Trump took office, this trend has evolved into a historic shift. Investors are moving away from a United States that some perceive as both unfamiliar and untrustworthy. Coupled with a weakening dollar and more attractive valuations, Europe is regaining the focus of investors.
Bouha stated, "Today, Europe is seen as a large Switzerland. People are not fascinated by the growth prospects of the European economy, but rather generally believe that its institutional framework is stable and predictable."
