Japan's Metaplanet plans to issue 555 billion yen in perpetual preferred shares to strengthen its capital strategy

ChainCatcher news, Simon Gerovich, CEO of the Japanese listed company Metaplanet, stated in a post on the X platform that the company has submitted a suspended registration statement to the regulatory authorities, planning to issue up to 555 billion yen (approximately 3.7185 billion USD) in perpetual preferred shares to support its capital structure and strategic expansion.
