ChainCatcher news, the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced today that it will allow retail investors to participate in trading crypto exchange-traded notes (crypto ETNs). This policy will officially take effect on October 8, 2025.

According to the regulations, relevant products must be listed and traded on UK investment exchanges recognized by the FCA, and must comply with financial promotion rules. It is worth noting that such products are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
