Trump Media & Technology Group officially reveals plans related to Truth tokens and wallets

ChainCatcher news, according to DL News, Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) has officially disclosed its plans for the Truth brand utility token and digital wallet in its latest filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

As early as a few months ago, the company first hinted at this concept in a letter to shareholders. The document shows that the token will be part of a "larger reward program," integrated into the "Truth digital wallet," with initial uses including payment for Truth+ subscription fees.

As the project progresses, the token may also be applicable to other products and services within the Truth ecosystem, suggesting that it will have broader utility across the entire platform in the future. Although the document does not explicitly refer to it as a "cryptocurrency," the wording implies that it is likely built on blockchain infrastructure. This second-quarter financial report marks the first appearance of the project in public financial documents, indicating that the token is viewed as a core component of Trump Media & Technology Group's crypto strategy.
