ChainCatcher news, BAGS founder Finn successfully acquired the original physical hat of the Dogwifhat meme for 6.8 BTC (approximately $800,000).

The meme features the Shiba Inu Achi wearing a pink knitted hat, and this auction is the first and only time the hat has been made available to the public. This collectible, which has never been sold before, may not be publicly traded again in the future. To ensure authenticity, a photo of Achi with its owner sitting behind the hat was inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain via Ordinals before the auction.
