Caixin: Regulators remain cautious about the issuance of RMB stablecoins

ChainCatcher news, according to Caixin, due to the development of quantum computing, the security issues of blockchain technology for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin have escalated again.

Caixin has learned from several policy officials in mainland China that since the end of June, relevant parties have held multiple meetings to discuss the development trends and response strategies of stablecoins and cryptocurrencies, stating that research should continue, but the hype around stablecoins in public opinion should be toned down. Regulators are also closely monitoring the trends in the development of stablecoins and related technologies, remaining cautious about the issuance of RMB stablecoins.
