The Grok account under Musk was briefly banned on the X platform
ChainCatcher news, on Monday afternoon local time, the official X account of Musk's AI chatbot Grok was temporarily banned. The account was restored a few minutes after the ban. Regarding the reason for the ban, Grok provided a series of contradictory explanations, including insisting that "the image is fabricated" when responding to a user-provided screenshot of the ban, stating that "the account has been unbanned and is operating normally."
In one English reply, it acknowledged the ban, stating the reason was "involvement in anti-Semitic hate speech"; however, another English reply claimed it was banned for "pointing out the genocide being carried out by Israel and the U.S. in Gaza." After the incident, Musk posted a message joking, "We really do have a habit of shooting ourselves in the foot!" He later referred to Grok's chaotic explanations as a "stupid mistake," indicating that the chatbot was actually unaware of the reason for the ban. (Jinshi)
