The Singapore dollar strengthened slightly as the market focused on the release of the US CPI data
ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi, during the Asian trading session, the Singapore dollar has slightly strengthened against the US dollar, possibly related to position adjustments. Analysts from Malayan Banking stated that the market is cautious about the US CPI data to be released later today. Analysts pointed out that unless there are clear signs showing that the price pressures from tariffs have significantly increased, this inflation report is unlikely to greatly change the market's expectations for a rate cut by the Federal Reserve in September or further easing.
