AI search company Perplexity once offered $1 billion to acquire the Brave browser

ChainCatcher news, according to The Information, before launching a $34.5 billion acquisition bid for Google Chrome, the AI search company Perplexity had proposed to acquire the privacy-focused browser Brave for about $1 billion this summer, but the related negotiations have stalled.
