Bowmore will issue tokenized whiskey on the Avalanche chain, priced at $5,500

According to Crowdfundinsider, Scottish whisky manufacturer Bowmore will issue tokenized limited edition whisky on the Avalanche chain, with the first batch of "collector's edition" priced at $5,500, and each bottle of whisky will be tied to an NFT. This whisky will make its debut at TOKEN2049 in Singapore on September 30, 2025, where the NFT can be redeemed for the physical product.

Bowmore, part of the Suntory Global Spirits Group, is one of the oldest whisky distilleries in Scotland, and this marks the brand's first foray into the realm of real-world asset tokenization (RWA), providing collectors with a new way to interact.
