Data: Over 788,000 ETH queued to exit Ethereum PoS, setting a historical record
ChainCatcher news, according to validatorqueue data, the current exit queue of the Ethereum PoS network reports 788,624 ETH, worth approximately $3.651 billion, setting a historical record for the scale of exits in terms of coin value. Meanwhile, there are about 332,846 ETH queued to join the network.
This situation reflects two opposing forces in the market: on one hand, some stakers may choose to cash out after Ethereum rebounded over 160% since the low in April, leading to a surge in the exit queue; on the other hand, new incoming funds driven by regulatory benefits and institutional demand are also pushing up the entry queue, as publicly listed companies like SharpLink Gaming and BitMine Immersion increase their holdings of ETH and stake it.
