Data: An early Ethereum investor transfers 334.7 ETH for the first time after more than a decade of silence

ChainCatcher news shows that on-chain data indicates an early Ethereum investor has transferred 334.7 ETH for the first time in over a decade, worth nearly $1.5 million.

This fund was initially discovered by Lookonchain, purchased during the 2014 Ethereum Initial Coin Offering (ICO) for just $104. Before transferring most of the funds, the investor made a small test transfer to a new wallet with no prior activity.

If liquidated at current market prices, this transfer represents a 14,000-fold return. The original wallet has had no activity since the ICO. The Ethereum ICO raised a total of $18 million and officially launched in July 2015.
