Ningbo has cracked a fraud case involving virtual currency "Flash Delivery Moutai," and the defendant has been sentenced to one year and six months in prison
ChainCatcher news, according to Guangming.com, Ningbo has cracked a remote ordering "flash delivery Maotai" fraud case involving virtual currency. The defendant targeted liquor stores for fraud, using fake receipts to deceive them into handing over real Maotai and transferring the proceeds in the form of virtual currency to upstream accomplices. The Ningbo Yinzhou District Prosecutor's Office has filed a public prosecution, and the defendant Zhou has been sentenced to one year and six months in prison for concealing and disguising criminal proceeds, along with a fine. The police are currently conducting further investigations into the upstream fraudsters.
