ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, the Federal Reserve's July meeting minutes show that while many remain concerned about inflation risks, some rate setters are gradually abandoning their hesitation to lower borrowing costs. The minutes indicate that it is neither feasible nor appropriate to wait for the full impact of tariffs on inflation to become clear before adjusting the monetary policy stance. At the July meeting, Governors Waller and Bowman supported a 0.25 percentage point rate cut, marking the first time since 1993 that two governors disagreed with the Federal Reserve Chair.
