U.S. lawmakers propose to authorize the president to combat overseas cryptocurrency theft

According to ChainCatcher news, as disclosed by Bitcoin Laws, U.S. Arkansas Congressman David Schweikert has introduced a new bill proposing to allow the president to issue "privateering licenses," authorizing individuals and companies to apprehend cryptocurrency fraudsters outside the United States. The proposal aims to strengthen the crackdown on cryptocurrency theft and protect the interests of the industry.
