ChainCatcher news, according to Nwes1, the Seoul Central District Court in South Korea has made a partial ruling in favor of the plaintiffs in the lawsuit filed by current and former employees against Wemade.

The court ruled that Wemade must compensate them a total of 9.93928 billion Korean won (approximately 7.14 million USD). In July last year, 27 current and former executives and employees of Wemade filed a lawsuit against the company, demanding 16.17648 billion Korean won in compensation.

A person who previously worked at Wemade's subsidiary Wemade Tree stated that the company had promised to make payments but did not fulfill that promise, leading him to file a lawsuit.
