ChainCatcher news, according to CoinTelegraph, Custodia Bank CEO Caitlin Long stated at the Wyoming Blockchain Symposium that the mismatch between traditional financial systems and blockchain protocols could impact traditional financial institutions. "Because traditional systems cannot update in real-time, these fault tolerance mechanisms are built into the system. In the cryptocurrency space, everything must be real-time, and cryptocurrency is a completely different matter. I am indeed concerned about how these financial giants will respond when the bear market inevitably returns. I know some people are optimistic and believe that a bear market won't come again. I've been in this industry since 2012, so I know that bear markets will come again."
