Federal Reserve's Logan suggests improving communication on interest rate targets
ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, Dallas Fed President Logan stated on Monday that the Federal Reserve should consider improvements in communication, including better expressing policymakers' views on the path of interest rates and the economic outlook. She pointed out that there is also room for improvement in how the Fed articulates its balance sheet and suggested considering whether continuing to describe the policy interest rate target in terms of "interest rate ranges" is still the optimal choice.
