This change caused the funding rates for WLFI and XPL to surge, with WLFI's annualized funding rate increasing from 11% to 100%, and XPL's annualized funding rate rising from 11% to 800%.

As of the time of writing, the current price of XPL on Hyperliquid is $0.66, representing a 22.6% premium over Binance's $0.538. The current price of WLFI on Hyperliquid is $0.292, showing a 13.6% premium over Binance's $0.257.
