- The attacker implemented the attack by updating the Venus core pool controller (Core Pool Comptroller) to a malicious contract address;
- Affected assets include various tokens such as vUSDC, vETH, etc. - the stolen funds are still held in the attacker's contract and have not yet been exchanged.
