The President of Belarus has called for the acceleration of the development of cryptocurrency regulatory mechanisms

ChainCatcher news, according to BelTA, Belarusian President Lukashenko instructed relevant departments at a government meeting to develop transparent rules and regulatory mechanisms for the field of digital tokens and cryptocurrencies.

He emphasized that currently this area is mainly managed by the Hi-Tech Park in accordance with the No. 8 document of the "Digital Economy Development Regulations," but there are issues in practice, such as funds flowing overseas without returning. The president called for clarifying the responsibilities of the government and the Hi-Tech Park, and for new regulations to ensure financial security and the legal operation of enterprises.
