Metaplanet will issue 385 million shares to raise approximately 2.13 trillion yen for the purchase of Bitcoin

According to ChainCatcher news and Metaplanet's announcement, the company has decided to issue 385 million additional shares through an international offering, with an issue price of 553 yen per share. The total amount raised is expected to be approximately 2.13 trillion yen (about 14.44 billion USD). Approximately 1.84 trillion yen of the raised funds will be used to purchase Bitcoin, and about 20.4 billion yen will be allocated for Bitcoin yield generation business. After the issuance is completed, the company's total share capital will increase to 1.141 billion shares.
