Three Swiss banks complete Ethereum interbank payment pilot

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Swiss banks UBS, PostFinance, and Sygnum have successfully tested interbank payments on the Ethereum public chain, using Deposit Tokens to achieve legitimate interbank settlement without traditional payment systems.

The pilot covers peer-to-peer payments between clients and the exchange of deposit tokens and assets, validating both technical and legal feasibility. The next step will promote the participation of more banks, infrastructure, and regulators to explore the large-scale application of the system.
