CME Group plans to launch Solana and XRP futures options on October 13

ChainCatcher news, CME Group announced plans to launch Solana (SOL) and XRP futures options on October 13, pending regulatory approval.

The new products will cover SOL, Micro SOL, XRP, and Micro XRP futures options, supporting daily, monthly, and quarterly expirations.

Since their launch, the cumulative trading volume of Solana and XRP futures contracts has exceeded 540,000 and 370,000 contracts, respectively, with an average daily trading volume of 9,000 contracts for Solana futures and 6,600 contracts for XRP futures in August.
