DeSci protocol Bio Protocol completes $6.9 million seed round financing, led by Maelstrom under Arthur Hayes

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the DeSci protocol Bio Protocol announced the completion of a $6.9 million seed round financing, led by the Maelstrom Fund, the family office of BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes, with participation from several institutions including Mechanism Capital and Animoca Brands.

The project recently launched the Bio V2 upgrade platform, which transforms scientific research into decentralized AI agents through BioAgents, aiming to accelerate the research process and reduce costs.
