NVIDIA plans to invest $100 billion in OpenAI, with an initial funding of $10 billion

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, Nvidia will invest up to $100 billion in OpenAI to support the next generation of artificial intelligence data centers and related infrastructure.

The two parties have signed a letter of intent, with an initial funding of $10 billion, and subsequent investments will be made in phases based on each deployed 1 gigawatt of computing power. The project plans to build data centers with at least 10 gigawatts of computing power, using Nvidia's advanced chips. Nvidia will acquire a minority stake in OpenAI.
