MEXC Ventures increases its investment in Ethena to 66 million USD

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, MEXC Ventures announced today at the Token2049 conference a second strategic investment in Ethena, with a new round of investment amounting to $30 million.

Previously, MEXC Ventures had made a strategic investment of $16 million in Ethena and purchased $20 million of USDe, bringing the total investment amount to $66 million, covering the Ethena ecosystem. This additional investment demonstrates MEXC's support and confidence in innovative stablecoins and related infrastructure.

MEXC Chief Strategy Officer Cecilia Hseuh stated at the Token 2049 forum that over the past two years, MEXC Ventures has invested in more than 40 projects, with 7 key projects involving amounts exceeding $100 million. She emphasized that in the future, the model of "investment + exchange + project empowerment" will become an important direction and path for investment incubation and empowerment.
