Polymarket is about to reopen to US users

ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, the prediction market Polymarket is set to reopen to U.S. users, nearly four years after it was effectively banned by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Regulatory documents indicate that the relaunch could happen as soon as tomorrow.

Polymarket previously acquired the CFTC-licensed trading platform QCX LLC for $112 million and has begun self-certifying event contracts, including those for sports events and election markets.
