U.S. stock market opened, Dow Jones flat, S&P 500 up 0.3%, AMD surged 35%
ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, the U.S. stock market opened with the Dow Jones Industrial Average flat, the S&P 500 index up 0.3%, and the Nasdaq Composite index up 0.5%. AMD surged 35% after announcing a chip supply agreement with OpenAI, which is expected to acquire up to 10% of AMD's shares. Nvidia opened down 1%, while Intel rose 2%.
