ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, the Federal Reserve's September meeting minutes may indicate that officials are weighing whether to end the balance sheet reduction plan. Citigroup economists point out that the trends in the interest rate market suggest that financing conditions have tightened, which may mean that the size of the balance sheet is nearing the level desired by the Federal Reserve. The Citigroup team stated that as liquidity decreases, the volatility of short-term rates has increased, which may prompt officials to at least discuss the possibility of ending the balance sheet reduction.
