ChainCatcher news, according to The Verge, Trump is dismantling the East Wing of the White House to make way for a lavish banquet hall. The president stated that the $300 million cost will not be borne by taxpayers, but will be covered by private donors, including himself.

According to the donor list released by the White House on Thursday, it includes some of the largest tech companies in the United States, such as Amazon, Apple, Google, Meta, and Microsoft. YouTube, a subsidiary of Google, has agreed to pay over $20 million for the project. The cryptocurrency sector is also performing well, with Ripple, Tether America, Coinbase, and the Winklevoss brothers (Cameron and Tyler appearing on the list) all providing donations. Additionally, defense and telecom giants like Lockheed Martin, Comcast, T-Mobile, and Palantir are also on the list.
