Marathon Digital acquires the French electricity company subsidiary Exaion, with an agreement prohibiting EDF from participating in AI and Bitcoin mining
According to Solid Intel, Marathon Digital has completed the acquisition of Exaion, a subsidiary of the French electricity company (EDF). The terms of the deal explicitly state that EDF will be prohibited from using its computing power for AI training or Bitcoin mining activities.
