Data: In October, the cryptocurrency industry saw 21 merger and acquisition transactions, setting a new historical record

According to RootData, in October this year, the cryptocurrency industry saw a total of 21 public merger and acquisition transactions, including Coinbase acquiring echo for $375 million, Kranken acquiring [the SMALL exchange](https://www.rootdata.com/zh/Projects/detail/the SMALL exchange?k=MjE5MDY= "futures trading platform") for $100 million, and Modern Treasury acquiring Beam for $40 million. Additionally, companies such as Aave, Blockstream, CoinShares, Fireblocks, Figment, Plume, Ondo Finance, Farcaster, and Pump.Fun have also engaged in M&A activities.

Meanwhile, the total number of merger and acquisition events in the cryptocurrency industry this year has reached 144, representing an increase of over 100% compared to the same period last year, setting a new historical record.
