According to Cointelegraph, global index provider FTSE Russell has announced a partnership with Chainlink to publish its benchmark stock and digital asset indices on the blockchain.

Through Chainlink's DataLink service, index data for globally tracked assets exceeding $18 trillion, such as the Russell 1000, Russell 2000, Russell 3000, and FTSE 100, will be available on multiple blockchains. FTSE Russell CEO Fiona Bassett stated that this move is an important step in the company's strategy to promote "tokenized assets" and ETF innovation. Previously, FTSE Russell launched several cryptocurrency market indices through partnerships with SonarX and Grayscale to provide standardized benchmarks for institutional investors.
