An attacker manipulated the POPCAT to attack the Hyperliquid platform, resulting in a loss of 4.9 million dollars

According to Lookonchain monitoring, an attacker launched an attack on the Hyperliquid platform by manipulating POPCAT, resulting in a personal loss of 3 million dollars and causing a loss of 4.9 million dollars for Hyperliquid liquidity providers (HLP).

The attacker withdrew 3 million USDC from OKX, dispersed it to 19 wallets, and then deposited it into the Hyperliquid platform to open a long position worth 26.28 million dollars with 125.14 million HYPE.
