The U.S. Senate may advance the cryptocurrency bill in December
The chairman of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, Tim Scott, stated that he plans to mark up the cryptocurrency market structure bill in December, aiming to send it to President Trump for signature in early 2026, to make the U.S. the "crypto capital of the world." The bill aims to clarify the regulatory authority of the CFTC and SEC over cryptocurrencies.
