Bybit partners with Komainu to create an institutional-grade custody and 24/7 secure trading framework

The cryptocurrency exchange Bybit announced today the official integration of the collateral management platform Komainu Connect, launched by the regulated digital asset custodian Komainu (supported by Laser Digital and Blockstream), providing institutional clients with an integrated solution for asset custody and 24/7 secure trading.

Through this collaboration, institutional investors can execute trades instantly on Bybit while keeping their assets fully held in a regulated third-party custodian, further reducing counterparty risk. Leveraging an automated off-chain settlement mechanism, clients do not need to pre-fund their accounts before trading, significantly enhancing capital efficiency.

Komainu continuously expands the ecosystem of Komainu Connect through deep technical integration with exchanges, lending institutions, and brokers, enabling institutional clients to access a wide range of market counterparties in a faster and smoother manner.
