OpenAI plans to compete with SpaceX and explore deals with the rocket company
According to The Wall Street Journal, OpenAI founder Sam Altman has repeatedly expressed interest in building data centers in space. Sources say that Altman has explored a potential acquisition or partnership with a rocket company, which would put him in competition with Elon Musk's SpaceX.
It is reported that OpenAI has been negotiating potential deals in recent months, but recently the talks between OpenAI and the rocket company have become less active.
